2026 may be the Hottest Year in Recorded History

In the U.S. July 2026 was the warmest month on record, with average temperatures 3 degrees above normal. Miles City MT hit 115 deg F and Wyoming had temperatures 5.1 deg above average.

France had some of the hottest days ever recorded, including 112 deg F in Pissos and 106 deg F in Paris.
