The annual cost of charging an EV is almost always hundreds of dollars less per year than fuel costs for a similar gas-powered vehicle.

With an EV there are no oil changes, spark plug repacements or transmission fluid flushes. Regenerative braking charges the battery while reducing wear and tear on brake pads.
