Record High Temperatures in Europe and India
Temperatures in London recently hit nearly 95 degrees F, setting a record for the highest May temperature ever recorded. In Western France temperatures climbed almost 24 degrees F above seasonal norms. In southwestern Spain temperatures were expected to hit 104 degrees F. In Rajasthan, India, record temperatures soared to over 118 degrees F.
Scientists are in agreement that these extreme temperatures are occurring because of climate change from atmospheric emissions from burning of fossil fuels.
