Spiritual beliefs have probably been with us since humans evolved from primitive primates millions of years ago. But modern science, based on observations and measurements, has only been around about 400 years.

Christianity and religiious faith provide us with moral guidance and faith about life after death. Modern science is mainly a good set of tools to help us manage our present lives. One of those tools is the science of climate change.
