What YOU Can Do for Clean Energy

Utility companies are responsible for electricity generation which is beyond the influence of most people. But almost all of us could electrify our homes and transporation. In the U.S. about 70 million homes are heated with natural gas, and there are about 266 million gasoline-fuel cars and light trucks. Over 98% of cars in the U.S. are gasoline-powered. Homeowners could install heat pumps for home heating, which cost about the same as air conditioners, and people could purchase or lease electric cars or trucks which, today, are price-competitive with gas-powered vehicles.
